Faora was a dangerous Kryptonian lieutenant and the consort of General Zod.
Biography[]
Joining the Kryptonian Military, Faora loyally served Colonel Zod alongside fellow lieutenant, Non. Helping Zod defeat Doomsday, Faora grew closer to the Colonel than she could ever believe. After Zod manipulated a Char attack on Krypton, Faora and several others loyal to Zod were banished to the Phantom Zone. There, she and Zod grew to become lovers and eventually conquered Warworld. After Zod escaped the Phantom Zone, he helped Faora do the same. They were quickly attacked by Superman and Wonder Woman, forcing a temporary retreat. After this, Faora was powered up enough to trap Superman and Wonder Woman. As they were about to bring Warworld to Earth, a nuclear explosion shuttled the two back into the Phantom Zone.
Powers[]
When she initially arrived on Earth, Faora's powers were nowhere near as strong as that of Superman as he had not absorbed nearly as much solar radiation. However, due to the tampering of Apollo Phoebus, Faora quickly gained nearly as much solar radiation as Superman had during his entire time on Earth. Thus, she gained super strength, speed and the ability to shoot lasers out of her eyes.

When the time travelling tampering of H'el created an alternate pocket universe within a universe, Krypton never exploded. There, under the tyranny of H'el, Faora ended up becoming the crippled servant of the Oracle.
