Glen Glenmorgan was a corrupt businessman in charge of Galaxy Incorporated. Due to his wealth and corruption, Glenmorgan was literally in control of Metropolis and was known publicly as Mr. Metropolis. Superman and Clark Kent were both responsible for exposing Glenmorgan's actions to the public, after which he retired and quit the corruption business as well. The power void in Metropolis was thereby filled by Lex Luthor and Glenmorgan's successor, Morgan Edge.
