S.T.A.R. Labs was a research lab in the United States of America. Known originally for creating technology to benefit mankind, after the Terminaut Invasion, the S.T.A.R. Labs base in Metropolis became known for being Superman's "clean-up crew". They often either repaired damage done to the city or collected dangerous technology. In Gotham City, S.T.A.R. Labs was known for housing some of the worlds most dangerous chemicals and compounds like Venom. In Detroit, S.T.A.R. Labs housed the Red Room, the room containing the most powerful technology in the world. It was in the Red Room that Cyborg of the Justice League was created.
