Yod-Colu was the birthplace of Vril Dox, the alien who would go on to become the Colony of the Collector of Worlds and later Brainiac. Before it could be attacked by the Multitude, Dox became the Collector of Worlds, miniaturized and preserved the city of Metaire. Not long after the Collector did so, however, Yod-Colu was destroyed by the Collector.
Unknown to the Collector, in Universe 0, a similar planet named Colu existed which had similar locations, people and history.
